And Then I Found Fifty Dollars
I have been staring at a blank screen, cursor blinking, for five minutes. I have been planning posts in my head for an entire week. But for some reason, the words just aren't coming.
I thought I might do a little shtick on having a double scope done this past week, which, if you don't know what a double scope is, you are one lucky son of a bitch. I thought that would be a good post, too. I mean, come on, drinking four liters of a noxious liquid that causes you to spend an entire night on the toilet, not being able to eat for over 24 hours, having two cameras shoved in both ends of your body... that's good stuff there! But I just couldn't put it all together somehow.
Then I thought I'd give a little update on my treatment, etc, but there's only so many ways to say, "This sucks and my leg hurts," without getting a little tiresome. And thus here I am, at a loss for words. So for now, this lame filler post will have to do.
Don't worry. I'm here, I'm fine, I'm waiting for inspiration to strike.
I'm glad you at least posted--this element of your fan base was starting to wonder.
Looking forward for the striking of inspiration.

My sympathies on the double scope. I've been there more than once. In fact, it seems like EVERY time I go in for one, they think it's a fabulous idea to do the other, too. You know, while I'm there. It's like one-stop shopping! Not even Wal-Mart is that convenient.
P.S. UGH. They made you drink GoLytely? I HATE THAT STUFF. No, that wasn't worded strongly enough. Let me try again. I FUCKING HATE THAT STUFF!!!!!!!!!

O.K I have a question if you don't mind. I was reading the 7 signs of ovarian cancer and I was wondering if your tubes are tied can you still get ovarian cancer? also I take progesterone and my dr. said it helps protect against ovarian and breast cancer and I was wondering if you've been told it does. I hope you don't mind ansewring my questions. thanks donna

Hi Rae. I hope treatment and all the other crap that comes with cancer doesn't interfere with a turkey feast, some football, and maybe even a little parade watching. Because, really, what's better than a inflated Snoopy hovering over New York? Or blatant commercialism of the Christmas shopping season? Makes you wanna jump up and declare all for which you are grateful, right? (Stick with the football -- it is safer) Thinking of you.

You know, what of the problems with being sick is that it is so damn boring. It's hard to blog about how boring it is to be sick, but it is and I'm glad you blogged.
